For years I was thinking that expensive stuff always look better. Honestly, I was wrong and I discuss this a lot on this site. Sometimes, you have to invest in high-quality furniture and stuff but for the most part home decor doesnt have to be expensive.

If you want to know anything about me, I am Katerina and along with my husband Tasos we created this website to share our thoughts and tips on how to make our homes a better place. We are not experts by any means, we don’t have degrees on decoration however we have got passion to help others and have our little internet corner where people can learn, relate, communicate etc!

As far as me, I am a winter person, I love morning coffee and rain! We have two daughters, Maria who is 11 years old and Marina who is 9. They share a bedroom and I guarantee they can destroy it in 15 minutes even if I was tidying up their room for 3 hours.  

Then there is Tasos, my husband, the one that talked me into this.
He makes all the research, topics, planning, and DIY projects he builds and tests before anything gets published. If there is a project on this site to be built apart from paper crafts, he’s done it. 
He is also a Harry Potter fan and collector. All sorts of stuff. He has books, collectibles, decor items, everything and tries to make everyone in the family passionate about Hogwarts and Potter! 

This blog was original born back in 2024-2025 after our kids grew to the point we had time to start a new blog and as a way to document our home renovation and maybe help other people along the way. Over these months it has changed and grown.
